Art direction for the digital and physical release of the collaborating artists’ LP. This included the creation of a music video for its digital rollout, and layouts for CD, CS, and LP.
This music video was art directed and created entirely by me. It is a blend of gameplay from a mini-game that I designed in Unity, handdrawn animation, and “UI” bits designed and composited in After Effects.
The physical release, coming Q1 2025, will include CD, cassette, and LP formats. They feature cover art by snail, artwork pulled from the music video, and exclusive trading cards incorporated into the packaging itself.
On vinyl, the trading cards are on the back cover, perforated for easy disassembly. Once the cards are removed, a proper title, artist names, and tracklist is revealed.
On cassette and CD, “budget” versions of the cards are included on auxilliary panels of the J-card and the digipak, respectively. The viewer is directed (via artwork) to cut out the panel, and then each card, leaving them with double-sided mini cards.
